Weirdly enough it reminds me of the serene ambient output of the band Emeralds, though noticeably starker in tone. The result is a strangely peaceful (dare I say familiar) feeling of quiet dread and homely nihilism. Deathbed Tapes may have harsher and superficially extreme output, but I'd be willing to bet few other releases are as atmospheric as this one. Don't overlook Rubber Nurse!

Unwind Your Flesh, Deviant Cadaver is the noise piece to beat this year! Psywarfare with its minimal, choked electronics as a backdrop to some of the best vocals I've ever heard on a noise piece while Sakura Napalm delivers a noisy, slowly evolving beast that is well restrained as well.
